Notes:
1. Travelers holding a Republic of China (Taiwan) passport are visa-exempt for tourism entry into Japan. Holders of a valid ROC passport (limited to those whose passport includes a National ID number) must have at least 6 months of validity from the departure date.
2. The permitted stay may not exceed 90 days.
3. To avoid any situation where departure is denied on the day of travel, please kindly recheck and confirm your passport.
4. “According to international practice, a passport must have at least six months of validity in order to enter another country.”
5. For military personnel → two passport stamps are required:
◎“Departure of the passport holder must be approved.”
◎“Approval granted until (year)(month)(day), document no.____.”
6. For conscription-age males → two passport stamps are required:
◎“Departure of the passport holder must be approved; military service obligation not yet fulfilled.”
◎“Approval for conscription-age male valid until (year)(month)(day), issued by (City/County Office).”
7. For males approaching conscription age → one stamp is required:
◎“Military service obligation not yet fulfilled.”
8. Dual-nationality holders → must use the same passport when entering and departing the Republic of China.
9. “Conscription-age males” refers to those aged 18 until completion of military service; “approaching conscription age” refers to ages 16 to 18.
10. Travelers entering Japan must provide fingerprints and have their facial photograph taken, and undergo inspection by an immigration officer. Those who refuse will not be permitted to enter.
11. Since June 1, 2008, under Japanese traffic regulations, for safety reasons, all passengers (including those in the rear seats) must fasten seat belts.
12. Travelers holding non-ROC passports should consult the Japan–Taiwan Exchange Association to determine whether a visa is required and what documents are needed. Phone: (02)2713-8000
13. All visa-related regulations stated above apply only to travelers holding a Republic of China passport. If you hold another country’s passport, please verify the requirements yourself and inform your service staff at the time of registration.
14. If force-majeure factors such as weather cause mountain closures and prevent completion of the itinerary, the organizer reserves the right to adjust the itinerary, sightseeing items, or accommodations. If such adjustments result in reduced expenses, the remaining amount will be refunded after returning.
